Adeoti’s lifeless body,
laid still like an effigy.
The cries from the depth of his soul reverberated the atmosphere.
The dreary sky wore the colour of intense grief:
Burning red.
He can tell the smell of death;
the grief planted in his face illuminates the pangs of its sorrow.
